Protecting Canadian sovereignty

During the Q&A portion of his testimony to Senate of Canada on June 18th, 2025, Goldy Hyder urged parliamentarians to unite and pass the One Canadian Economy Act (Bill C-5).

“This is an existential moment,” Hyder replied. “These are not normal times that we’re in. We are facing a legitimate threat, if I can call it that, about our very sovereignty.”
