Éric Provost has been at Laurentian Bank for over a decade. Most recently, he served as Group Head of Commercial Banking.
He has a proven track record of delivering world class customer service. Under his leadership, two of the Bank’s Commercial Banking specialties have achieved a “world-class” Net Promoter Score (NPS) rating, and another is ranked “excellent.” This is a direct result of the Commercial Banking team’s close proximity to their customers and their unparalleled proactive approach; they put customers at the centre of all organizational decisions and ensure they have the right expertise, products, and solutions to offer best-in-class service for their customers.
With over 25 years of experience in the financial sector, Éric has a proven track record of successful acquisitions (CIT’s Canadian Equipment Financing and Northpoint Commercial Finance, thereby establishing a solid end-to-end equipment financing platforming Canada and the US), profitable growth and reaching excellence in customer service.
Prior to joining Laurentian Bank in 2012, Éric spent 12 years at a leading commercial lender where he held various senior management positions including Chief Marketing Officer, Vice President – Commercial, Manufacturing sector for Eastern Canada, as well as Vice President, Commercial Excellence.
Aside from his professional activities, Éric is actively involved in his community and devoted to the well-being of young people. In that regard, he is an active member of the Fondation Tel-Jeunes since 2014. Éric holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Applied Finance from Université du Québec à Montréal. He is also accredited as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
