academia and non-profits.

By helping to provide cutting-edge IT solutions and services, Soumen has been instrumental in shaping a broad range of industries all over the world. He believes Canada is a geography ripe for a remarkable digital
transformation – a shift necessitated by its sheer size, its population demographics and its valuable natural resources.

During his over two-decade tenure with TCS, he has led the development of significant new business and managed many successful and lasting client engagements. Prior to his current role, Soumen spearheaded the spirited growth of TCS Japan, and was instrumental in TCS’ largest investment outside India.

An active proponent of bilateral trade and passionate advocate of skills development, Soumen contributes to building trade relationships between Canada and India through his various board appointments. They
include Core, which helps facilitate the sharing of knowledge between buyers, advisors, and providers, TECHNATION (formerly ITAC), the definitive voice of the information technology industry in Canada, and the
Canada-India Business Council, an organization committed to advancing opportunities between Canada and India.

He works tirelessly to build the ecosystems that breed innovation and spur business and society forward.
