Mark Collett was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Crosbie Group (Crosbie) in January 2022, following six years as Chief Operating Officer with more than two decades of leadership experience in Canada’s engineering and energy sectors. Crosbie is a fourth-generation, family-owned enterprise headquartered in St. John’s, NL with diversified interests in real estate development, residential construction, and industrial services across Atlantic Canada, Quebec, and Ontario. Mr. Collett also oversees Crosbie’s international interests through a joint venture operating in Guyana, within the CARICOM region of South America.
Mr. Collett is an active contributor to his community and industry. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Newfoundland and Labrador Oil & Gas Industries Association (now Energy NL), including a term as Chair, and was a member of Memorial University’s Faculty of Business Administration Board of Advisors from 2014 to 2024. He currently sits on the Advisory Board of the Manning School of Business Administration at Acadia University. In 2021, he founded the ‘Energy Shave,’ an annual energy industry fundraiser supporting Young Adult Cancer Canada. Mr. Collett is also a member of the CNIB National Board of Directors, where he serves as Chair of the Governance Committee.
Mr. Collett holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Acadia University and a Master of Business Administration (with Distinction) from Durham University Business School in the United Kingdom and earned his ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. He also completed the Global Executive Leadership Program at Yale University.
