Kieran began his career in Canada with EllisDon in 2000 as a Mechanical & Electrical Coordinator, prior to which he acquired global building experience in the United States, Germany, Ireland, and Asia.
His remarkable on-site career was shaped by the management of everything from humble renovations to massive projects spanning multiple sectors, including commercial, residential, education, and government housing. Ultimately, the impressive list of projects Kieran brought to fruition stands as a character-defining testament to his relentlessly innovative spirit – one fueled by a perpetual need to learn and grow. Between 2013 to 2023, he ascended into corporate executive management roles, being appointed Vice President and Area Manager of the Toronto Area, Senior Vice President and Area Manager of the Toronto Area, Senior Vice President and Area Manager of Central Canada, and Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President (“COO and EVP”) of Construction.
As COO and EVP of Construction, he was instrumental in leading EllisDon’s construction operations nationwide, including the Buildings, Civil, Industrial, and Modular divisions, and subsequently played a pivotal role in all major projects. Kieran’s values-driven leadership helped catapult EllisDon into its current position as one of Canada’s largest construction services companies. By exemplifying EllisDon’s highest standards of dedication and integrity, Kieran has forged a stellar reputation in the industry and community. In 2021, the Globe and Mail recognized his exceptional leadership by presenting him with the Best Executive Award in the Operations category.
In 2023, Kieran was promoted to President & Chief Executive Officer, where his bold, people-centred leadership and passion for construction services continue to galvanize EllisDon at the forefront of the industry.
