As president and managing director, Andy Canham is responsible for SAP Canada’s overall strategy, customer and partner engagements, and for driving growth across SAP’s industry-leading cloud portfolio. Andy joined SAP Canada in April 2017. He has spent his career at the forefront of technology and leverages more than 25 years of experience in managing and growing businesses in his executive leadership role at SAP. Prior to co-founding and leading Eclipsys Solutions, and overseeing Operations at Vital Insights, a cloud CX provider, Andy was senior vice president for Oracle’s Systems division for North America, where he guided the company’s commercial hardware sales integration with Sun Microsystems and led the division for the next two years. Prior to Oracle, Andy was senior vice president of global systems sales for Sun Microsystems, Inc, and before that he oversaw Sun’s Canadian business unit as president. Andy also led Western Canada for Hewlett Packard, and worked for more than a decade at IBM Canada, where he started his career in systems engineering. A graduate of the University of Toronto, Andy holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. Andy is a former Board Member of March Networks, and Seneca College, and a former Cabinet Member of the United Way of Greater Toronto. He is an active founding member representing SAP on the federal Disability Inclusion Business Council, and a member of the Business Council of Canada.
