Nick McKenna is the President ConocoPhillips Canada. He has 29 years of industry experience and has held numerous roles of increasing seniority within the ConocoPhillips organization. Prior to his tenure in Canada he served as VP Midland Basin in Texas and before that was CEO Australia Pacific LNG. ConocoPhillips is one of the world’s largest independent exploration and production companies, headquartered in Houston, Texas. ConocoPhillips Canada is focused on developing our Surmont oilsands project in northeastern Alberta and our leases in the Montney area of northeastern British Columbia.
Nick earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Western Australia, 1994, a master’s degree in System Design and Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), 2004 and a doctorate in Engineering Systems from MIT, 2006.
