Thor R. Richardson is the eighth family President of James Richardson & Sons, Limited (JRSL) since 1857, one of Canada’s largest private, family-owned corporations. Prior to joining JRSL, he served as Vice-President, Business Development and Integration at Richardson International Limited, a global leader in agriculture and food processing.

Mr. Richardson is a member of the board of directors of Patricia Transportation Company Limited (parent company of Bison Transport Inc.), Richardson International Limited, Tundra Oil & Gas Limited, Kingston Midstream Limited, Wynward Insurance Group and Lombard Realty Limited, all of which are wholly owned subsidiaries of JRSL.

Based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Mr. Richardson is active in the community and supports numerous organizations while serving on the boards of the Richardson Foundation, the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and Futurpreneur.

Mr. Richardson holds an Honours degree in Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business and a Bachelor of Laws degree (Honours) from the University of Cambridge
