Denis Dubois has been President and CEO of Desjardins Group since September 2025. An accomplished executive with an impressive career, he’s a leader who brings people together, communicates a clear vision and demonstrates a deep commitment to Desjardins’s members and clients and Canadian communities.

A graduate of Université Laval, Denis is also an actuary by training. He’s demonstrated remarkable rigour and built extensive experience over his career, having successfully completed the exams required to become a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society.

Since joining the Desjardins team in 2003, Denis has held a number of strategic roles, including President and CEO of Desjardins Financial Security, and Executive Vice-President of Wealth Management and Life and Health Insurance. He’s also been integral to Desjardins’s national growth, playing a key role in the acquisition of State Farm’s Canadian operations and of the distribution activities of IDC and Worldsource.

Denis is very involved in his community, actively supporting social causes and organizations like United Way Centraide, the Canadian Cancer Society and the Desjardins Foundation. He’s a firm believer in the power of collective action and in the ability of every individual to contribute to a society that is more fair and more caring.
