Mr. Ronald N. Stern is the President, CEO and Founder of Stern Partners Inc., a diversified investment company with interests in approximately twenty businesses operating across a variety of industry sectors, including manufacturing, distribution, retailing, environmental services, publishing and printing. Prior to founding the firm, Mr. Stern practiced law for approximately 15 years as a Partner at a leading Canadian law firm, with an emphasis on corporate and commercial law … and various social interest matters. Since 1989, he has devoted his full time to the management of his business interests and serves as a director or officer of many of Stern Partners’ operating companies. Mr. Stern serves, or has served, on a variety of corporate and community Boards, including the Vancouver International Airport Authority, Vancouver East Cultural Centre, the Vancouver General Hospital and University of British Columbia Hospital Foundation, the Vancouver Symphony Society, the Canadian Council for Israel and Jewish Advocacy, and Science World British Columbia. Mr. Stern holds an L.L.B. degree.
