Michael is Chief Executive Officer of Goldman Sachs Canada Inc. Prior to his current role, he was head of Canadian M&A and head of Canadian Energy. Michael joined the firm in 2009 as a vice president and was named Managing Director in 2015.
Prior to joining the firm, Michael was a vice president in the Investment Banking division of a Canadian bank and was as associate with a national law firm. Michael earned a BComm from the University of Calgary in 1998 and an LLB from Queen’s University at Kingston in 2001.
