
Kim Watson is the President & Managing Director, Wipro Solutions Canada Limited, and Senior Vice President, Wipro. Her role focuses on Wipro’s vision for business growth, brand building, and transformational engagements with clients in key sectors within Canada. Kim is a champion for Women in Technology in Canada and is a member of Wipro’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Council, as well as the Business Council of Canada.
She is an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) veteran with over 30 years of experience in various leadership roles including development, sales, engineering, delivery, software, managed services, and outsourcing.
Prior to joining Wipro, Kim was Vice President and General Manager for the Federal Market at IBM Canada. In her over two-decade career with IBM Canada, Kim held leadership positions in IBM’s Global Services and Software divisions. She also served as Vice President, Client Advocacy in the offices of the Chairman, CEO, and President at IBM. Additionally, Kim further honed her leadership skills at Bell Canada where she spent five years as Vice President of Engineering and Program Delivery. Kim’s clients and co-workers know her best as an energetic and motivating leader. She has a proven ability to construct creative, collaborative, and innovative approaches to drive new business and deliver large programs. Her success as an effective leader is driven by a strategic mindset, a cooperative attitude, and a passion for accomplishing goals.
Kim enjoys spending time with her family and friends in Prince Edward County. She’s an avid fitness enthusiast with a certified personal trainer certificate and a motorcycle buff who likes to take road trips across Canada and the United States. She also volunteered for many years at the York-Simcoe Express Hockey Association, serving as president during a period that saw the emergence of several players who would go on to careers in the NHL
