
David Rawlings is Chief Executive Officer for JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Canada. He is based in Toronto and has responsibility locally for the Canadian Franchise including the Commercial & Investment Bank, Payments and Asset & Wealth Management. He also leads the JPMC Canada Foundation, which focuses on philanthropic investments in inclusive growth, diversity and education across the country.
David is on the Board of the Canadian Bankers Association and is a member of CEO and the Young Presidents’ Organization. In addition, he is a global ally for the JPMorgan Chase Black Organization for Leadership Development (BOLD), and executive sponsor for other J.P. Morgan business resource groups including Women on the Move. He serves on the boards of FreshBooks, the Bishop Strachan School, Nature United and the development committee of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.
Prior to his role in Canada, David worked for JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York. He started his career at the Royal Bank of Canada in Toronto and worked at both Credit Suisse and Bear Stearns.
David graduated from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
He and his wife, Tasha, have two daughters.
