As the Founding Partner of Band Venture Partners, Mike is responsible for all aspects of the asset manager that bridges entrepreneurs and corporations through an outsourced corporate venture model. Mike also serves as a fourth generation Owner and Director of Coril Holdings, a privately controlled investment company headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, Loram Maintenance of Way, a global supplier of track maintenance services and equipment based in Hamel, Minnesota, and Director of Endeavor Canada, a global community of high-impact entrepreneurs unlocking the transformational power of entrepreneurship in Canada.
In his various roles, Mike is uniquely positioned to help guide each organization’s alignment of purpose, strategy, culture, and systems. He believes that a robust culture of entrepreneurialism is foundational to societal prosperity, which led Mike to become a venture capitalist where he saw an opportunity to align founder success with existing corporate’s growth, productivity, and innovation goals.
